Context
Pregnancy, postpartum recovery, cycle changes, sleep, fatigue, nutrition and movement are usually treated as separate product categories. Vysoma brings them into one non-judgemental wellness experience while remaining explicitly non-medical.
The problem
Three constraints overlap:
- Personalisation across life stage, goals, energy, fatigue, sleep and nutrition.
- Privacy and compliance for sensitive data, granular consent and partner access.
- Monetisation across RevenueCat on iOS, Stripe on the web and synchronised server-side entitlements.
The solution
An iOS-first application
Expo and React Native support onboarding, daily check-ins, a recovery score, breathing and movement programs, nutrition, hydration and subscription management.
A deterministic recovery score
The score uses understandable inputs such as sleep, energy, fatigue and mood. AI can help phrase guidance, but it never replaces product rules or safety boundaries.
Responsible partner support
Users explicitly choose which indicators a partner can see. Access is read-only, granular and revocable, while journals and AI conversations remain private.
Server-side AI and subscriptions
Claude runs behind Supabase Edge Functions. RevenueCat and Stripe entitlements are synchronised through the backend, keeping secrets and business rules out of clients.
Foundations
- Supabase Auth, PostgreSQL, RLS, Storage and Edge Functions.
- A Turborepo monorepo with shared core, type, i18n and design-token packages.
- Firebase and Expo notifications with per-category preferences.
- French and English from the start, with a structure ready for future locales and RTL.
Next
The roadmap focuses on App Store launch, richer personalised programs, a stronger partner dashboard and a carefully bounded premium assistant.
